What is the guest capacity of The Commons 1854?

Our max capacity is 200.

Does the COMMONS only host weddings?

No! Visit our Events tab. We proudly offer our event services:

·         Baby/Bridal Showers

·         Birthday Parties

·         Corporate Events

·         Wedding Ceremonies + Receptions

·         Proms

·         Fundraisers

Do you have parking?

Yes! The parking lot is diagonal to our building for the convenience of your guests.

Do I need to hire a planner?

No! All of our coordinators are licensed bridal coordinators and work with you throughout your entire planning process to help answer any question!

Are you handicapped accessible?

Absolutely! We have handicapped parking next to our building as well as an accessible ramp. We also have a chairlift.

Do I need event insurance?

No. Your event insurance is covered through your venue rental fee.

Does the venue have heat and A/C?

Yes! We have commercial units that are climate controlled.

Can I bring or serve my own alcohol?

No. However, all our bar and catering services are provided in-house.

Are there any restrictions on what vendors to use?

While we have a recommended vendors list, there are no restricted vendors. You can bring in whatever vendors you would like, though of course we have our preferences. Vendors may contact us directly to ensure a smooth set up and timeline. All vendors can set up 2 hours prior to your event.

What dates are still available to book?

Please email us at info@thecommons1854.com or submit an inquiry through the Contact form. We do not have a public scheduling due to a dynamic booking schedule. Meetings are made by appointment only to ensure a private and informative tour.
